Flag Day!

President Woodrow Wilson declared June 14 as Flag Day in 1916, and Congress designated it an official holiday in 1949. The date goes back to June 14, 1777, when the Second Continental Congress approved use of the flag as the symbol of the United States. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

CMPD Providence Division 2nd Shift Roll Call – THIS FRIDAY, May 3rd

The Amity Gardens Neighborhood Association Board will be hosting our 3rd Community Roll Call for the CMPD Providence Division – this is the division that patrols our neighborhood. The officers should be arriving at 5362 Buena Vista Avenue between 12:30 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. on Friday, May 3rd.

We will have some light finger foods, and this is a wonderful time to meet some of our officers. We would love to have you stop by if you can.

Drop In Meeting – Vote for Amity Gardens Street Sign Toppers (TWO Dates/Times)

We need to have a re-vote for the design for new Amity Gardens Street Sign Toppers. We will be putting in for a grant with the city on June 1st and need to have all votes in by May 5th.

There will be two times to view and vote for the design.

On the front porch at 5362 Buena Vista Avenue Friday, May 3rd – 6:00 p.m. 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 5th – 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
