Update From Tonight’s Dinner/Meeting AND Street Sign Topper Vote Results.

Thank you to the neighbors who came out to the meeting and FREE dinner this evening.

Great update from Officer Martin. The only incident we have had reported and investigated for 2019 is the truck break in that happened this week on Gwynne Avenue. For many years we have had very low crime rates and that is a huge plus for our neighborhood.

Our City Councilman Matt Newton came and got us up to date on city business and we had a good question and answer session with him.

We gave an update from CDOT about a recent traffic study on Kistler Avenue, I will post that info/stats in another post.

LASTLY, we talked about and voted on 2 different designs for new street toppers and for the number of signs.

Sign (A) won the vote and the vote to have signs on all the street signs (not just the neighborhood entrance locations) won. The board will now be applying for a grant from the City of Charlotte to pay for the signs.
