It is time for Amity Gardens Neighborhood Association Board elections! Voting will be at the annual meeting on Tuesday, September 11th. We will have ballots ahead of time if you are not able to attend the meeting. More about that will be posted in a day or two.
Here is a list of the candidates:
Luke Carter for President – Luke lives in his childhood home on Lynnville Avenue. His family moved into the neighborhood in 1964. Luke has been vice president for the past 4 years.
Donna Fisher for Vice President – Donna has lived on Eaton Road since 1977 and was a founding member and big part of the former neighborhood association back in the 1990’s. Donna has been an at-large member for the past year.
Annie Flint for Treasurer – Annie has lived on Lanier Avenue since 1976. She has been on the board for the past 3 years and has been treasurer for the past 2 years.
Marty Payne for Secretary – Marty has lived on Buena Vista Avenue since 1969. She has been on the board for the past 4 years and has been secretary for the past 2 years.
Donna Thomas for Activities/Social Media Coordinator – Donna has lived on Buena Vista Avenue since 1995. She and her husband bought his grandmother’s home. Donna has been on the board for the past 4 years as the activities/social media coordinator.
Candy Cross for At-Large – Candy lives in her childhood home on Eaton Road. Her family built their home in 1956. This will be her first term on the board.
Alan Bottorff for At-Large – Alan has lived on Dudley Drive since 1993. Alan retired in February and is looking forward to serving the neighborhood. This will be his first term on the board.
