Congratulations to David and Suzanne Lynn of 2232 Lanier Avenue for being awarded August Yard of the Month!
“Amity Gardens has been my home for about 18 years now! This is my first home to own. When I moved in I was Suzanne Campbell.
Last October I was married for the first time to David Lynn and he, my husband, moved in with
me. I am now Suzanne Lynn. We really enjoy our neighbors and the location being so central to everything.
Charlotte has been my home since I was
around 2 years old. David lived here 30 years before moving to Lincolnton, NC, with family, but is now back since our marriage. We have a brown and white Beagle and a “Blue”Chihuahua (she is gray). Both are rescue dogs. Since we have no children, they are our fur babies.
Both of us are pretty creative. I have enjoyed faux finishing, decorative furniture painting,
wall art, wreaths, graphic design, interior design, etc. since I have lived on Lanier Ave. I work in the graphics field. David works for the State DOT
program. He made our fun 4th of July Pallet Flag we had out front this year.
We are honored to be awarded “Yard of the Month”. This is the first time our quaint abode has won since I have lived here! Thank you!” – Suzanne Lynn
