“We appreciate being recognized as “Yard of the Month”. The house was purchased in January 2016. Owning Tartan Builders Group, I was looking for a home and a project and this house fit the bill. The house has been totally renovated from refinishing the floors to the new roof, the largest projects being adding a second bathroom, and enclosing the old screened entry porch to create a mud room/laundry area. After marrying my lovely wife Britt in May, we tackled the outside from the exterior paint color to landscaping around the new deck, retaining wall, drive and fire pit.
Although the profitability of the house was the initial draw, we have really enjoyed transforming it into our home. Thanks to all of you that have stopped by and given us complements, asked questions, or just watched us sweat. We apologize for our lack of fall flair; I was in a bad motorcycle wreck October 1 and Britt has been managing my recovery since.” – Greg and Britt Hill
