The Amity Gardens October Yard of the Month winner is David Blankenship of Cutler Place.

“I’ve been a resident of Amity Gardens since 2007. I have a long history of ties to Charlotte as my mother is a Native and my grandparents and great grandparents lived here their whole lives. I graduated from Salisbury High School and then NC School of the Arts. I returned back here after living in New York for 24 years and continue to work in the Motion Picture Industry as an Art Director and Set Designer and since here worked on Local Charlotte shows like Homeland and Banshee. I love the neighborhood and its convenient location as well as all our spectacular trees. In my free time I love to skate out at Extreme in Indian Trail or Ice House in Pineville.” – David
