Crime/Activity Update from CMPD

According to CMPD statistics, there has been a 100% decrease in
reported incidents for Armed Robbery, Larceny from Auto and Larceny in Amity Gardens.

Stats do show an increase of one reported incident for Residential Burglary for the last 30 days. There were 3 reported incidents for the neighborhood. The reported incidents have been classified as “Open” and assigned to an officer or detective for follow-up.

The reported incidents for the residential burglary occurred in the 5300 block of Lynnville Ave and the 2100 block of Lanier Ave.
On Lynnville Ave, unknown suspect(s) busted out the window to the rear kitchen door to gain entry and took various electronics and
jewelry. On Lanier Ave, four black male suspects gained entry by using bodily force on the rear door to the residence, took various electronics and fled the scene.

The top five “Calls for Service” listed for the neighborhood are Zone
Check (55), Traffic Stop (19), Accident in Roadway– Property Damage (12), Loitering for Money (9) and Vehicle disabled in
Roadway (7).
