Update from CMPD

According to CMPD statistics, there have been no significant increases or decreases in reported incidents for the previous month for the Amity Gardens neighborhood.

There was 1 reported incident for the neighborhood.
The reported incident has been classified as “Open” and assigned to an officer or detective for follow-up. The larceny occurred in the 5000 block of Unaka Ave. A white pickup drove up to the victim’s vehicle and a white male suspect jumped out and took a leaf blower from the bed of the victim’s landscaping truck. It is important to continue to be observant during the day and call when you see suspicious activity in your community. Get to know your neighbors and work together to keep an eye on each other’s residence. If you observe suspicious activity occurring in your neighborhood, call 911 immediately.

Please keep in mind that criminals are looking for easy targets with the holiday season approaching. Please secure all of your valuables by placing them in the trunk of your vehicle, a locked box or take them inside your residence.
